Steelco Gujarat Limited

Steelco Gujarat Limited is an Indian steel processing and manufacturing company incorporated on 9 January 1989. Headquartered at Palej in Bharuch district, Gujarat, the company specialises in manufacturing cold-rolled steel products, galvanised steel coils and sheets, and colour-coated steel products for industrial and commercial applications. The company's product portfolio includes cold-rolled (CR) coils and sheets, galvanised plain (GP) and galvanised corrugated (GC) sheets, CRCA sheets, HRPO coils and colour-coated steel coils and sheets. These products serve applications across construction, infrastructure, fabrication, engineering, roofing and various industrial sectors.  Steelco Gujarat commenced commercial production of cold-rolled steel products in 1994, initially with an annual capacity of 180,000 metric tonnes. It subsequently expanded its operations by installing continuous hot-dip galvanising lines and a colour-coating line, enabling it to offer a broader range of value-added steel products. 

The company operates its manufacturing facility at the GIDC Industrial Estate, Palej, Gujarat, supported by steel processing infrastructure and technical capabilities. Its products are designed to meet the requirements of customers seeking quality, durability and reliable performance in steel applications. Following financial difficulties that led to a closure in 2019, insolvency proceedings were initiated in 2020. The National Company Law Tribunal approved a resolution plan in July 2023, and the company subsequently resumed operations under new management.
