Bilt Biochemicals Ltd

Bilt Biochemicals Ltd. was a Thapar Group company established in 2001, with operations focused on the manufacture of citric acid and biochemical products. The company developed a major citric acid manufacturing facility at Karkhadi near Vadodara, Gujarat, using Vogelbusch technology. The facility was designed with a capacity of more than 25,000 tonnes per annum and produced anhydrous citric acid under the Citrablt brand.

Bilt Biochemicals was subsequently renamed Solaris Biochemicals Ltd. and later became Solaris Chemtech Industries Ltd. The business was part of the Thapar Group's diversification into specialty chemicals and biochemicals, with citric acid serving applications across food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, detergents and other industrial sectors.
